Learn how to create gorgeous flowers from gumpaste. Sharon Zambito will lead you through the entire process step-by-step in real time. This DVD is perfect for both the beginner and experienced flower maker. The basic techniques of flower making are shown, while also applying them to the specific 6 flowers taught in this DVD. Learn to use your cutters to make more than one flower with them. Please note that only flowers are taught in this DVD. It does not include any decorating techniques related to the cakes used to display the flowers.

• rolling out gumpaste using a grooveboard
• rolling out gumpaste using a pasta roller
• cutting out petals and leaves
• thinning and ruffling petals using a ball tool
• avoiding problems with thinning and ruffling
  
• wiring petals and leaves using three different methods
• veining petals and leaves using a veiner press mold and a veiner stick
• making stamens of different varieties
  
• making daisy and sunflower centers by hand and with a mold
• layering daisy and sunflower petals
• wiring a daisy after it has dried
• applying calyx to daisy
  
• dusting with petal and luster dusts
• how using different shapes and sizes of brushes will give different coloring effects
  
• steaming dusted petals
• assembly of wired flowers using floral tape
