Buttercream is a soft icing that you can spatula onto your cake or cupcakes, or force through an icing tube to make swirls and designs on the tops of your cakes and cupcakes.
Buttercream has a sweet smooth buttery flavour that compliments most cakes. It can be used between the layer of sugar fondant and cake, however in Australia the tendancy is to use ganache in this layer due to our warmer climate.
We offer CK branded ready to use buttercream that you can use straight from the tub, or whip it for an even lighter finish.
We also offer Bakels fudge icing which is slightly thicker.
